Denver Beer Co.

It never rains in Denver. Like, literally, ever. So it was definitely bad luck when our plans to spend a sun drenched afternoon at a roof tap bar were rained out. However, no outing in our group of friends is without a Plan B. Ours was a very successful trip to the Denver Beer Company, which was great because, as you may remember, I’m committed to touring as many breweries in Denver as I can before my big move. (Stay tuned for that BIG announcement, coming soon!)

The brewery is in LoHi, which is a pretty trendy area of Denver, and as soon as I tried a few of their beers, I can see why they can afford what must be pretty steep rent prices. My favorite was the Graham Cracker Porter, which is surprising because I don’t generally like dark beers.

There were also a few Denver famous food trucks parked outside, so we tried a few taco treats- I only ate the garnish though, being a veg. That’s okay though, it gave me more opportunity to drink! Other good ones to try include the Pineapple Pale Ale and the Kaffir Lime Wheat. As you can see, I tried quite a few- but can you blame me, since I couldn’t eat anything!?

What with the friends, food (however inedible) and beer galore, I’d say it has been my favorite brewery on the tour yet!
