In the mornings that I head to the office in Denver, I reflect on commuting in NYC, London or Paris and wonder which scenario is better:
1) an hour long (plus) commute staring directly into someone’s sweaty armpit with no personal space of my own
2) a 15-minute easy breezy bus ride or 45-minute walk with personal space to spare
As crazy as it sounds, I sometimes miss the long commutes and look forward to quality time with someone else’s book in my face on the train or the tube. Why? Because I get to listen to my favorite commuting music!
When I’m not listening to a TED Talk or RFI podcast, you’ll find me trying hard not to faint from heat exhaustion and succeeding because I’m zoned out to tunes by the following groups:
