Remember when I went to Nordstrom to revamp my summer wardrobe a little bit? Although I ended up with the Marc Jacobs and blue wrap dress, I got a furious email from my mother (among others) to go back for the DVF. My budget being blown, however, I was unable to do so.
A few weeks ago, I went to the Express Memorial Day Sale, where
everything in the store was 40% off- including a version of the very
same DVF dress I tried on at Nordstrom. However, this dress was only $24
(on sale), significantly less than the Nordstrom dress! I, of course, snatched it
right up.
The fabric may be a little thinner, but it is summertime anyway- I don’t need a heavy dress!
Coupled with a pair of Cynthia Rowley sandals, a brown belt from
Forever 21 and a necklace from a craft fair, I am ready for an
afternoon in the sun whenever I wear this LPD!
